Love this place! It's actually called Taco Salsa not sure why it's labeled here as Taco Star. Old worker at Albertacos branched off and started this place. Clean, fresh & fast! Will be back!

This place was/is our backup spot to Alphonso's for breakfast burritos. It is now off our list. It seems like they just threw our meals together in addition to getting it wrong. I was so disappointed because I went through the drive through and had to come back after realizing my son's Burrito was wrong....
After I said NO QUESO....and he confirmed...I wouldn't be upset if this was the first time. They did remake the one but offered the wrong burrito to me....who is going to eat that? Maybe it is just me but mine tasted awful...and I only finished half. I'll drive to Monica's Taco Shop or to my favorite Alphonso's on 21st Street if we want good breakfast burritos. -

Just got a burrito from here not even maybe two hours ago and it was not even edible. I like my foods salty but this was like unreal salty. So gross and I was just passing through so I basically paid to throw away a burrito away. Literally so salty even a horse would find too salty. Yuck

I bought a breakfast burrito today 6/27/18 as I was eating it I noticed what looked to be a hair in it. Turned on my flash light and sure enough there was a hair in my burrito. I tried getting it out and it was through the inside so it just broke off. I gave them a call just to see if they would give me a refund and let him know I found hair in my burrito. The man on the phone says I have no hair so how is it hair. I told him it clearly is a hair. He says no woman works here and said yes she gives the food to you at the window and takes payment. He said yeah but she doesn't make the food so how is there hair. I said I'm not sure how but there is. He said ok and hung up. Said he wouldn't do anything for me. Check your food before you eat it. They lost me as a customer.

Taco Star is my go to for Mexican food. I always get the chimichanga. My sister & I went to the drive thru tonight. 6/24 around 8 PM. We both ordered the beef chimichanga and it had about 3 pieces of beef and only had beans. Also had about 5 layers of raw tortilla and wasn't fried. The tomatoes inside of the chimichanga looked moldy or rotten. I always get the chimichanga and it's always great, but the quality of the ingredients this time was terrible.
